This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles. In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.
Lancia
Lancia are Italian made since 1907. The emblem shows a lance flying a Lancia, with a four-spoked wheel behind and until 1956 the right-hand spoke showed a knurled throttle control.
The Lancia Delta were produced from 1979 until 1999 with the High Fidelity (HF) versions being the sports/rally car models.
