Auto Emblems in Australia - The Ivan Hoffmann Collection

This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles. In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.

Lamborghini

Lamborghini are luxury spots car makers in Italy since 1963. The founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini used to manufacture tractors, he bought a Ferrari car, but thought it could be better and Lamborghini was born. Legend has it that Ferrari had the "prancing horse" and Lamborghini chose the "charging bull", as was more powerfull.
