There was Dat brand (1912), who named their smaller car "Datson", later the name was changed to Datsun with "sun" being a reference to the "rising sun" on the Japanese flag.
Dutsun was a Japanese manufacturer from 1931 until 1986 (and 2013 until 2022) and was part of Nissan.
