LaFayette only made luxury cars from 1920 until 1924 when it became was fully owned by Nash. In 1934 Nash reintroduced the LaFayette make, which was later named Nash LaFayette until 1940.
The LaFayette emblem has a cameo of the Marquis de la Fayette, whom the company was named after.
