Auto Emblems in Australia - The Ivan Hoffmann Collection

This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles. In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.

Porsche

Porsche are a German sports and racing car manufacturer since 1931.

Porsche were made in Stuttgart and the emblem shows the horse arms of Stuttgart in the centre and the former arm of the kingdom of Wurttemberg (stag antlers and red & black stripes).
