This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles. In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.

Bugatti
Bugatti is French, the "EB" stands for Ettore Bugatti, the founder and designer. The company commenced in 1909. The number of dots on the outside border varied in number between badges, the earliest Bugatti badges had round dots; the post World War 1 (i.e. post 1918) badges had square dots until approximately 1928; then the round dots reappeared.
