This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles.
In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.
DKW Auto Union
DKW was a German manufacturer of motor-cycles before producing their first car in 1928 and becoming one of four companies in the Auto Union from 1932 until 1969 (i.e. Audi; Horch; DKW; Wanderer).
