This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles.
In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.
Minerva
Minerva were made in Belgium and started as a bicycle manufacturer in 1897 then motor-cycles and cars from 1900 until 1956.The Minerva emblem depicts the head of the goddess Athena.
