This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles.
In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.
Fafnir
Fafnir was a German manufacturer that started making needles, then bicycle wheel spokes, then motorcycle engines, then kit vehicles and in 1908 it made complete automobiles until 1926.
