Auto Emblems in Australia - The Ivan Hoffmann Collection

This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles. In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.

Buckle

Buckle were a fibreglass-bodied sports car made in Australia from 1957 until 1960, using Ford Zephyr Mark 1 engines. Buckle also assembled Glas Goggomobils in Australia, see Glas post.
