Oldsmobile (created by Ransom Olds, who also founded Reo) was made in America (USA) from 1897 until 2004. An early Oldsmobile was an experimental 3-wheeled steam car, Ransom Olds left in 1904 to create Reo. Oldsmobile became part of General Motors in 1909. Also see Oldsmobile (Australia) post.

The logo had a "winged spur" (representing harnessed horsepower/fleetness); lamp (of knowledge); acorns (growth), the background colour changed over the years.
