Auto Emblems in Australia - The Ivan Hoffmann Collection

This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles. In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.

Newman

Newman tractors were made in the United Kingdom, they were founded in 1923 and made tractors in 1948 inspired by the Member of Parliament, Kendall as part of his plan to produce tractors and the Kendall car (AFG), to boost manufacturing after the Second World War, production only lasted for a few years.
