Auto Emblems in Australia - The Ivan Hoffmann Collection

This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles. In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.

Fargo

Traditionally Fargo built trucks in America (USA) from 1913 until 1922; and from 1928 until 1978 (see separate post), but these Fargo's were marketed by Chrysler (Australia). Chrysler (Australia) also badged some Fargo's as De Soto and Dodge.
