The Morris 8/40 is a Morris 8 with the "40" only used in the Australian versions with the 8/40 thought to be referring to 8 Horse Power and 40 miles per gallon at 40 miles per hour.

Morris Nomad 1500 (1969-972) was only made in Australia and was a version of the Morris 1100, but with a 1500cc engine.

Morris made Mini models e.g. 850 Mini (1961), Mini Minor, Mascot, Cooper. Mini models became a marque in its own right in 1969 (see separate post). Mini was made by owners BMC (Australia) (1959-1968). Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969 (see Mini (Australia) post).

The Morris Sports 850 was the first Australian performance modification with twin carburettors. Morris Mini Minor were made 1959 until 2000 (depending on where they were made they were also called Austin 7, Riley Elf, Wolseley Hornet etc.). Mini Van and Mini Moke where also made in Australia.
