Auto Emblems in Australia - The Ivan Hoffmann Collection

This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles. In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.

Frazer Nash

(Archibald) Frazer Nash produced sports cars from 1922 until 1957.

The earlier Frazer Nash emblem was shown as two words, the latter as one word.

Frazer Nash also imported and assembled BMW from 1934 until 1957, branded as Frazer Nash BMW. Approaching World War 2 the letters "BMW" were omitted.
