Scania-Vabis was a Swedish truck manufacturer from 1911 until 1968 and its emblem had a stylised bicycle pedal crank (from bicycle manufacturing in the early years) and a griffin's head (the Swedish Coat of Arms has a griffin). Scania Vabis was formed from a merger of Scania (1901-1911) and Vabis (1891-1911). Scania Vabis merged with Saab to form Saab Scania, see separate post.
