This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles.
In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.
Saab Scania
Saab Scania were manufactured in Sweden from 1969 until 1995, being a merger of Saab and Scania Vabis, see separate posts.
The emblem shows a crowned griffin's head, which appeared on the Scania Vabis emblem.
