Holden

Holden where founded in 1856, and manufactured automobiles in Australia from 1908 (became General Motors Holden in 1931) until 2017.

Early Holden badges looked like the General Motors winged Cadillac badge. Next the badge was winged but with the Wembley Lion emblem (the Egyptian fable of the Wembley Lion claimed that a lion was seen rolling a stone, which was the inspiration for the invention of the wheel). The Wembley Lion, in a square or circle, continued either with or without "Holden" or "GM" (General Motors) with it.

In Holden's 109 years of manufacturing automobiles in Australia, there have been many models produced, often with very similar badges, which makes identifying them a little bit hit and miss, so we had included part numbers to help.
