This web-site presents emblems (also referred to as badges, mascots, scripts, logos etc.) displayed on automobiles since the introduction of the horseless carriage and have been collected by Ivan Hoffmann. The Collection is mostly "uncommon" early emblems of marques and contains about 300 makes of automobiles.
In July 2024 this Collection was donated by Ivan Hoffmann to the National Motor Muesum, Birdwood, South Australia.
Lorraine
Lorraine or Lorraine-Dietrich was produced in France from 1896 until 1935 and the logo features the Cross of Lorraine.
The name changed to Lorraine-Dietrich in 1905 and to Lorraine in 1928.
